Located on the doorstep to the Whitsundays, Mackay is an excellent base for fishing enthusiasts. All the local creeks produce Barramundi, Threadfin salmon and grunter.

There are four dams in the Mackay region stocked with Barramundi and Sooty Grunter. Fishing World has five staff who regularly fish from the reef to the ranges and have excellent local knowledge and product knowledge to make sure you get the right result
