Only 30 minutes from the heart of Brisbane and only a couple of minutes off the Bruce Highway; Tackle World Sandgate is ideally situated on the route to the boat ramp on Cabbage Tree Creek which gives easy access to the Moreton Bay fishing grounds and several local creeks. There are also plenty of local spots for the land-based angler.
The store offers a full range of tackle and accessories of all major brands for both fresh and saltwater fishing and an extensive range of frozen baits.
We have a well-established link with ”Incredible Charters” which operates out of Scarborough and offers a full range for offshore fishing including deepwater jigging.
The shop is within easy reach of the Air Sea Rescue and Yacht Club and the Sandgate shopping area. This is a professional tackle shop that will go that extra step to meet your requirements, come in and see us when you are in Brisbane.
Best Local Areas: Pine River, Cabbage Tree Creek, Nudgee Creek, and their tributaries. Moreton Bay and offshore areas.
Likeliest Species: Bream, Flathead, Whiting, Mangrove Jack in the local rivers and creeks. Moreton Bay and offshore all of the usual Reef and Pelagic species depending on the season.
