Barra Jacks Tackleworld Noosa is in a fantastic part of Queensland. It is situated in the prime holiday destination of the Sunshine Coast just 1 1⁄2 hrs north of Brisbane.

Some of the best beach fishing in Queensland is just north of Noosa. Just cross the Noosa river by barge and immediately you have access to great fishing and beach 4 wheeled driving. Further north again is Frazer Island(the biggest sand island in the world). Bream, Whiting, Dart, Jewfish and Tailor are all caught in these areas.
The very popular tailor season is at its best in October each year.
